Head of Sales

with a strong understanding of the Bulgarian metallurgical industry’s dynamics, trends, and customer needs for their office in Sofia (close to Bulgaria Blvd.).

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, managing, and supporting the work of the commercial department to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company objectives.
  • Managing, planning, and supervising all daily operative sales activities to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with business partners, fostering trust, and ensuring alignment with mutual goals.
  • Leading efforts to acquire new customers in the domestic markets.
  • Conducting regular visits to existing and potential customers to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Developing, implementing, and continuously refining strategies to increase sales revenue and grow the customer base.
  • Monitoring and achieving annual sales goals, overseeing financial performance, and actively participating in annual business planning and forecasting.
  • Leading negotiations with key accounts and partners, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Motivating, mentoring, and leading the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
  • Reporting directly to the company director with detailed updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Staying updated on industry developments, including advancements in the metallurgical field, and ensuring the company remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics or related field; candidates with relevant commercial management experience from other educational backgrounds are also welcome.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, with a strong focus on sales management, particularly in the metallurgical or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage sales teams effectively in achieving ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional sales, communication, and negotiation skills to build relationships and close deals.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, reliability, and a professional, proactive approach.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to take on higher responsibilities with confidence.
  • Passion for leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate the sales team to excel.
  • Willingness and readiness to work in an international team, including frequent travel to meet customers and partners.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
  • Valid B-category driving license with a willingness to travel extensively as needed.

  • Works on development of new curriculum programs.

Requirements:
